We got your back!
Our institution is dedicated to providing quality events, programs and projects to support the academic journey of students in our community. From after school programs to academic consultation, mentoring, and academic guidance, we have been committed since our establishment to focus on the needs of the communities we serve. We believe that education is the key to solve many social and economic problems that our communities face. Through education, we can ensure a better educated generation, consequently a better educated society with less crime rates, drug problems, disease, homelessness, and economic problems.
EduCare has sponsored many students of less fortunate families to receive free tutoring sessions. In addition, we constantly provide students with school supplies and hygiene items. Also, we donated hundreds of gently used books to local libraries and student clubs. EduCare has provided many students with the assistance needed to fill out necessary school documents such as FAFSA and scholarship applications to name a few. On top of that, we have taken the initiative of organizing used book sale where students can sell their old books to other students. It’s a win-win situation as the seller will benefit from the extra money to cover part of their school cost and the buyer will save a remarkable amount compared to buying it from the book store.
This year, EduCare is continuing the tradition of providing free school supplies and hygiene items to students of less fortunate families. “We got your back” drive aims to help students be well-equipped and prepared for school which will not only helps improve kids’ self-esteem but also makes them more excited about school and learning.
Our drive will benefit four (4) different communities: Detroit, Dearborn, Inkster, & Redford. Our drive wouldn’t be possible without the help of many individuals & companies such Councilman Jewell Jones (Inkster, MI), Trustee Fadwa Hammoud (Dearborn’s Board of Education), Batoull Haidar (President, ASU-UMD), Moussa Dakroub (@TheCityofDearborn Instagram Page), Adel Mozip (Candidate, Dearborn’s Board of Education), Sen.David Knezek (5th District, MI), Kimberly Russel (Journalist, WXYZ Detroit), Abe Hachem (CEO, Midwest Recycling), Mike Hacham (CEO, Hacham’s Consulting)
Please remember that no matter how much you can contribute, every bit will make a difference!
